Take advantage of our add-ons!
We remind you that you can download and enhance Total Recorder's functionality through the use of our great add-ons:

Digital Mixer, Graphic Equalizer, Send to iTunes/iPod and other FREE Add-ons.
Audio Restoration Add-on. It is designed to remove distortions such as clicks, crackles, and background noise, and provides high-quality restoration of audio recorded from LPs, tapes and microphones.
Automatic Gain Control and Speech Enhancement Add-on. It enhances the recording and playback of both speech and music. The add-on includes digital AGC (Automatic Gain Control), dynamic range adjustment and intelligent suppression of background noise.

Today we are happy to announce the release of Total Recorder Developer Edition Version 8.1 (build 3980). This release includes a number of new features and improvements based on feedback from our large customer base.

What's new in Total Recorder 8.1

Sample C# source code is added.
Ability to perform background recording of FLV streams transmitted using HTTP. This allows you, for example, to background record video from YouTube.
You can specify the monitor from which a window or region will be captured, as well as specify the monitor to be used when playing video in full-screen mode.
The batch processing functionality for audio has been improved and extended.
In addition to the number of minutes, you can now specify the number of seconds when splitting a file based on time.
When using "Pause Reduction", you can specify the duration of preserved pauses after the reduction.
Many other minor enhancements.

Notes:

The 6.x key (must begin with TRD6) of Total Recorder Developer Edition is valid for version 8.1 of the program.
Total Recorder supports only Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 beginning with Version 8.0. If you want to use Total Recorder with an older operating system, follow this link.
