What's new in Total Recorder 8.0

The program has been redesigned and restructured to provide a more intuitive and user-friendly interface. We've tried to give a fresh look and feel to Total Recorder.
A new kernel-mode filter driver is introduced that simplifies the settings for recording in software mode and resolves some of the problems with older types of Total Recorder drivers.
Total Recorder can save an audio file with a different speed than the speed with which it was recorded.
Support for audio files in Monkey's Audio (APE) format is added. Since it is a lossless format, a Monkey's Audio encoded file sounds exactly the same as an original.
Ability to specify a pre-defined recording level for recording from a sound board. This level is automatically set when a recording starts and the original level is restored when the recording completes.
Total Recorder can now be set as the default system program for certain types of files.

Notes:

The 6.x key (must begin with TRP6) of Total Recorder Professional Edition is valid for version 8.0 of the program.
Total Recorder supports only Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 beginning with Version 8.0. If you want to use Total Recorder with an older operating system, follow this link.
